Lucky Clover Card

Hello Bloggers,

Today I have a card for you made with the September Stamp of the Month again.

Now I know, your looking at the title to this blog and your probably saying its September not March, so why am I making a clover card? Well first off I realized that my blog is called Irish Crafter and I haven't made any Irish themed posts, but mainly its because I wanted to show you something. Most crafters are able to look at something and see how they can use it to make something else. Well thats what I did when I saw this set. Now I love it as the family and love set that it is but I also so something else when I saw the heart... you guessed it a clover or a shamrock.

This card was pretty easy to put together. I used the card base for both the card and the envelope. I used Topiary Cardstock and the Topiary ink with my stamps. I cut the circle out of white daisy cardstock using my cricut. Then I simply took the heart stamp and stamped it 4 times in a circle and now that heart stamp has become a clover. I used a green Copic marker to make the stem and then added a green epoxy bubble for the center.

I also used the Lucky stamp from our 30 year celebration stamp set and used Topiary ink to make a tone on tone pattern for the background. I used the same stamp and ink on the envelope to coordinate them.

On the inside of the card I used one of our retired stamp sets, "You are my Happy", to finish off the Irish theme to the card. The sentiment and the image are done in memento tuxedo black ink.

the pot of gold again is colored with Copic markers.

I hope this has inspired you to create something great today.
