Damask Divas Skylark Blog Hop

Hello Bloggers,

Welcome to the Damask Divas Skylark Blog Hop.

My Name is Sarah Gardner and I'm an Independent Consultant  with Close To My Heart.

If you came from Scrappin Madge, you are in the right place.  If you have jumped here and just discovered our blog hop, feel free to check the list at Damask Divas Blog to find the complete list of blog hop participants.

So Today I have a simple project for you. A covered Composition Book using the Skylark Workshop on the Go Kit  I kind of went with something a little simple to make a journal.

I used papers out of the Skylark  Workshop on the go kit to cover the front and back of the composition book using my ATG gun. I used a ribbon out of my stash that closely matched the Lagoon paper pack. The "My Story" was cut using the cricut. The pen has skylark paper inside to match.

The bird is made using the Cricut Spring Cottage Cartridge
The pocket and tags are made using CTMH Cricut Artbooking Cartridge

On one said of the two tags I stamped using the Happy Autumn and the Believe in yourself , the other side of the tags are left blank for pictures.
I also made a corner bookmark out of the same Lagoon paper and the bird paper from the Skylark paper pack.

I hope that you enjoyed this fairly simple project featuring the Skylark Paper Pack

The next blog on the list is Jennifer Dykstra. Hope you have a great time on our hop and checking out all the creations using Skylark Paper Pack. If you get lost, just hop on over to Damask Divas Blog for the full list.

Movie Card in a Box

Hello Friends,

Today I made a movie themed card in a box. These seemed to have gotten really popular and they are just so cute I couldn't resist. My son is having a movie party for his birthday so I thought this would make a great invitation, I hope you enjoy.

I used the box card cut file from svgcuts.com summer box cards. I used the plain box, ruffled flaps box card.

I chose to use red, white, and blue as the base colors as my son's birthday is July 4th.

I used the movie night cricut cartridge for the inside pieces.

The tickets were cut out with CTMH Art Philosophy and the Stamps were from this June's Stamp of the Month,
I used the Close To My Heart exclusive ink pads Honey, Cranberry, and Pacifica

After putting all my pieces together I put the box card base together.

I used a Sponge Dauber with the Honey ink around the edge of the popcorn to help make it look a little more realistic. I did the same thing with the tickets.

I used the daubers to create a two color stamp with the tickets, then the cranberry around the edge.

I think they turned out pretty well, the back has a piece of white cardstock with the information for the party.

Thank you so much for checking out my blog, I hope you enjoyed and that it inspires you to create something. Have a wonderful day.

Vinyl Butterfly Candle

Hello Bloggers,

I'm new to the blogging world so please hang in with me as I learn how to do this.

Today I have a candle I made using the Home for the Holidays cartridge. This was pretty easy to put together and really could be done with pretty much any image.

If you have the Cricut Explore you can also use a picture to add to your candle.

For this project I used outdoor vinyl and contact paper as my transfer tape.

Thank you so much for checking out my new blog.
